Selected practical modules are conducted at the Fire & Rescue Academy of Malaysia (Central Region) in Kuala Kubu Bharu — the national training academy with full-scale simulation towers, rescue drill areas and authority-recognised facilities for realistic, standards-compliant emergency response training.

On-site facilities include a smoke house / confined space entry, firefighting simulation unit, personnel transfer / swing rope training, a fire extinguisher station and live fire extinguisher drill, an industrial pressure vessel / gas skid, a HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) pool, and a dedicated briefing and muster area.
